thanks for droppin by I visited your quarantine tank and here and plan to visit your cichlids next. Voting for all 3. So would you be so kind as to drop by and tell me a little about your flourite substrate and the DIY CO2? I have read about the yeast/sugar concoction and tubing it into the filter, but I have never added CO2. My plants sit in gravel and I do add a little Tetra FloraPride once in a while. It has 3% soluble Potash and only .19% water soluble iron. I was looking at Flouris Excel the other day or thingin about coming up with my own fertilizer as I got a "recipe" off the web. Also, I do 50% water change every 1-2 weeks. The Cichlids are only 6 months old so they are not tearing up to much yet! I do not have any plants in with the large Cichlids cause they DO dig. Anyway your plants look wonderfully healthy too. Take care and I'm off to your Cichlids.
