Hi Everyone I put up a pic that shows how i built the hood. the wood is birch with a walnut polyurathane stain. White enamel inside. The light sockets were from Home depot. they are for a metal fixture and would clip in. the clips were screwed on I removed them and modified L brackets with a dremel tool to fit and used the original screws. For a cord I used a heavy 8 foot replacement cord for a power tool. No switch since I plan on adding a timer. The bulbs are 6500K 24 watt 100 wat equilivilant screw in compact floresent. The plants love them. I cant keep up with the trimming. I am no electrical engineer so if you copy this its at your own risk.
