hello yeah you could have a pond in alaska but you would have to find out what your freeze zone would be in the ground and dig a couple feet past that here in my state we have a freeze zone of 18 inches so i dug it deeper than 18 inches more like 4 feet to prevent the pond from freezing over and i also have a pond floating heater to keep it from completely freezing over, but you would have to reseach it first, yep these are goldfish and are not koi, they are the sarassa comets and regular goldfish type i also have some shubunkyn goldfish as well, later my friend..><}}}">
