How are you doing? It was great to hear from you. Yep, Eddie has been sick. We were at the coast the last week of February and when we returned we found that he had a really bad case of choke. After several vet visits, having to flush out his esophagus, and standing for hours with IV fluids we finally had to take him to a clinic where they scoped him and discovered a huge hay ball in stomach.

So, he's been on pellet feed the past week and just the past days has started up again on hay. And now he's on antibiotics because he's still coughing and has a yellow discharge from his nose. We're worried about pneumonia.

Okay, now for the new kitty. We've only had her for about a week or two. She moved into the small hay barn and has claimed it as her own. She's as friendly as can be and had a collar on. I think someone must have dumped her. Her name is Bob. I thought she was a boy and by the time I realized my mistake she was already used to the new name.

She won't venture far from her new domain and is the official cat of the horses! She's so sweet I can't understand why someone isn't looking for her.

As for winter, the past three days it's been warm! I think spring is in the air! What a nice surprise. I hope it stays! How about you? What's it like there?

Okay, that's it for now. Here's a vote for you.
