Not sure if it's no rest for the wicked, or if sleep is for whimps, I'll let you know when I decide. wow, my dad is a lot of work. I'm blessed to have this amazing SIL who is a huge help though, and she's had to deal with him during my illness and is now about done in. Poor thing, but she says she'll keep helping cuz she loves me and saw why I got so sick and was wiped out for a week. I'm now coming down with laryngitis which is not my fave but makes the family laugh at me. You know what they say, if you can't laugh at yourself, laugh at me laughing at you so they are having fun turning my own phrase against me hehe. SIL and I worked out that I don't do Weds, at all, or Sundays. And Sats by strict appt only which means once in awhile. I about had a nervous breakdown which is why I know I got so stupidly sick. I have had those before, this whole brain on overdrive, well, it can really drive fast hehe. But my kids and bf are super great and I can rest as I need. Well, except that whole not sleeping lately thing, wow, I hope tonight to enjoy comaREM as they call it when nothing can wake me up. Haven't had that in way too many months, I'm overdo for sure. I'm hoping our 'storm' warning we are having does more than just blow things around us, we all are really wanting rains. good rains, not that drizzly dampness that isn't very sufficient. Well, hugs to you and Sir Rufus, and some extra luv your way too cuz I sure do appreciate the friendship! Thanks for the emails btw, they've been informative and most helpful! I ordered Mo's shampoo, conditioner and a spray today, along with some super awesome treats to help her with the whole 'I can't believe you bathed me' pout she gets hehe. I figure if I add some ginormous treats, she'll be more than happy to get in that tub and stop trying to climb under my shirt when I soap her up! it's funny but she's HUGE and it's really hard work! At least when she's wet when I give her a smack on the tuckus, it sounds like it's a real slap, but alas, there is not much that can hurt the Mo and I myself would never hit her to hurt, EVER! Bf says it's not even considered a hit thing, more of a guidance with firm hand, cuz well, big dogs are not like little ones, you have to sometimes be really firm and make them understand you are in charge. I couldn't imagine having her think she was the boss of this house, I like her being the biggest baby! But yea, sometimes she has to have a quick reminder cuz she is way too smart. Smarter than a 5th grader hehe. Well, that I don't use a 'training' i.e. choker on her, good grief, she'd probably think I was mad at her all the time. She is actually really great, and walking her is super easy, except those unexpected stops when she all of a sudden finds an interesting 'text msg' to read on a bush or fence post hehehe. Ok, luv and hugs and I'm off to ice the neck and play some Zelda. Told that to oceanview already yet here I am babbling nonsense to you, jeesh, talk about overdrive! |
