Thanks for the visit! yea, we're a bunch of sci-fi geeks around here, though mostly Trekkies but couldn't find a Trek goby reference hehe. I don't have Carinotetraodon biocellatus, I have a Tetraodon biocellatus, and have never had a mean Fig8 puffer in all my years of fishkeeping. Actually the only harm the guppies ever have a chance of suffering is if they are asleep at the bottom when Gobi-Wan decides to do some plankton eating, they then get swallowed in while he's doing his bizarre gulping thing. Otherwise, they all do really well. The guppies chase the puffer around a bit, till he decides he's done then once he chases them back, it's all over until the next game of tag. I also have several breeding happy ghost shrimp in there, the puffer won't eat them either. Other than baby MTS and live worms, he pretty much lives a live and let live life. Guess all my Fig8's have been hippies hehe. Great avatar! I'd have Endler's in the goby tank but they are too small and get gulped in too fast I learned! |
