Hello!
Well, my past week was a very eventful and busy one. My stepmom had an abdominal aneurysm last thurs, so I've been shuttling my dad, doing some cleaning, cat care and shopping for him too, as well as keeping him company. I'm super happy her daughter and husband made it out to help take over the shuttling to the hospital part. Anyway, she's going to be in ICU for a while, and will not ever get to come back home. My dad is already prepping for that, they've been together 10 years and have 2 giant spoiled cats. She's my 4th mom so I was teasing dad about picking out my 5th hehe. Sadly, stepmom will be on dialysis for the rest of her life as well so she'll end up going to TX where she has tons of family and go into assisted care. Dad will stay here and so he'll be my other part time job. Sorry to hear about the fish. I lost a few of the glofish. They are not that great or long lived, several of them have deformities that don't show up until they are fully grown, if they make it that long. I don't think I'll be keeping this tank for ever, will decide once I get the super big tank later this year and figure out just how many I really need in my life. I plan on having only one 20, the 55 and then the long awaited 125. Well, dishes are piled up, emails are too, dog needs walking and I still need to do some laundry too. Whew, this taking care of 2 households is a lot of work! Winning the lottery so I can put in a hot tub is really sounding good right now! Hope you aren't getting too used to your spring like weather. I suspect ours will be coming to an abrupt end as well. Oh, and my son got a raise and has been in a great mood ever since, he's really doing great at work. He says he looks forward to some time off so he can play video games though, his online buddies miss him hehe. Me, I haven't even gotten to play Zelda in almost 2 weeks, heavy sigh. Maybe tonight if I can get dinner done early. Be safe! |
