Well, I don't blame you for wanting to meet Eddie. You'll never get over his huge presence. It took me about 3 years to not be surprise about his size. Now I take it for granted and normal horses looks so tiny to me! I'm so glad that Loki is settling in well. He sounds like a character! We're still fighting the cold here. It's one of those cold/flu things that just never dies. At least I got the hot water heater finally fixed today! Which reminds me... I have a funny story to tell. Yesterday I had to call Home Depot to see if they had an element in stock that I needed to fix a hot water heater. As usual, they put me on hold so while I waited I fed the dogs. A piece of food fell under Melian and Tuna decided to go for it. Melian exploded with a roar and scared poor Tuna half to death. She didn't bite but that would have been the next step. I have zero tolerance for dangerous behaviour so I chewed Melian out royally. "Shame on you! You're a BAD girl! Shame! Shame!" Silence. Uh oh! Where was the hold music? How long had I been off hold? :) The woman on the other end timidly cleared her throat. I explained that my dogs were being bad. She said nothing. I think she was more scared to death than Tuna! :) She VERY apologetically told me they didn't have the element in stock and hung up as quickly as she could. I'm still smiling about this! Leaving you a vote!
