Hello!
Got some snow and we also got a nasty surprise cold snap that went from a nice day to 19 degrees in just a matter of minutes and turned all roads into icy terror. And as a fluke, I had to be out in rush hour traffic during that fun. Took us almost 2 hours to go less than 12 miles round trip! YIKES! But other than that, my Friday was incredibly busy but over all not bad. Hopefully today it will be better, have to run just a few errands. My vet visit yesterday for my dog turned out not as planned. Found out have to give her the meds then bring her in for labs 4-6 hours later. So, for my 'hassle', they clipped her nails for free which is a nice savings, and I won't need an office visit, another big savings and can bring her in anytime in the med time frame without an appt. My vets place has great hours too, weekends they are open 8-4, and 4 nights a week they're open till 8. It's pretty convenient and they are all really nice. They only do dogs and cats though. Mo loves it there, they spoil her rotten and make over her like they've waited all this time to see her hehe. Oh, and she lost almost 10lbs since she's been on the meds. Wish I lost that much with her! My dad is giving me a big cat tower crows nest thingy as he has 3 but his 2 cats only like 2 of them. cuz they're spoiled like that hehe. So today I'll be out and about again though the roads should be a lot better, and bring that home. My old cat LOVES any cat tree and since she hasn't had one in quite some time, this will really be fun, watching her and the new one like they're kids at a playground.
