Hello!
so it's a rather white snowy sort of day. It's great! I'm getting excited about Tues, hopefully finding the purrfect furbaby for our home. Been cleaning and getting stuff ready. Jeesh, you'd think it was a human baby I was getting hehe. Everyone is excited about today, we'll be meeting at a local used book store, they're having a huge sale, bring in a paper grocery bag and fill it with used books for only 4.99, so everyone gets a bag from us plus their stockings. And you would not believe how excited they all are about it too! Yes, I know how to make my gang happy for really cheap, they are all singing my praises hehe. Too bad none of us can really sing HAHA. So, my MA will be getting out of the hospital today, she caught a nasty stomach virus and was really dehydrated so I took her to ER on Thurs night. She's diabetic and almost 70 so they hooked her up and got it all under control. Since we've all been sick, none of us visited her, she was laughing about it too. we call ALL the time, not like she's been abandoned but I didnt' even go into ER with her. She was doing fine and very coherent and other than needing a ride, she didn't need anything else anyway. Turns out that was a wise choice on my part. My sister brought a friend to the ER yesterday (and saw MA a minute too) for a hernia that was really bad, today he now has a stomach virus! It's been going around in this area, almost an epidemic I hear. I don't do hospitals, sick people go there! I think my illness is literally overload from too many cats at the shelter. I am allergic to dander, so of course I have furbabies. Benedryl is cheap enough and some sniffles don't really matter, I'm allergic to most things outdoors too and refuse to live in a bubble. Anyway, yea, had no voice for 3 days, the troops here were loving it haha. So, gotta get ready for the big day and dinner too. I'll get that package mailed this week, my daughter needs things sent too so I'll let you know when I send it. Well, stuff for you anyway hehe. HUGS and much luv to all! |
