Hello!
what a crazy past few days I've had. Weds I got up with a nasty throat and congestion, no fever, no aches, just laryngitis and congestion to the Nth degree. Still not too happy today but have a voice at least, and it's not too froggy hehe. Thurs night I had to take my mom to ER, she's got a nasty tummy virus that's been going around, got way dehydrated etc etc and now they think she may have a bowel obstruction too so she'll be getting an MRI later today. But she's in good spirits and as of this morning has held down chicken broth and hot tea so she's hoping the virus is at least passed. We got some more snow, most melted off yesterday to leave lovely ice all around, but at least it's wet. And this morning we got a nice heavy dusting of snow and some flurries are still lingering. We're to get some light showers off and on the rest of the weekend. I ordered a new heater for the KSpaz tank. Actually I ordered an Eheim heater for the Dragon goby tank, but it's way too big so changed out heaters this morning and hopefully the one in goby's tank will last awhile. That brackish tank eats heaters like they are a snack, every 1.5-2yrs I have to find a replacement heater. UGH! But the Eheim should work fine for when the KSpaz becomes the goby tank sometime next year. Got new filter pads too so all tanks got new filters and topped off this morning. Whew, I'm exhausted now hehe. Well, gotta get ready for this day, though I'd rather go back to bed! Hope you are having fun shopping! |
