MERRY CHRISTMAS
It started snowing a bit ago, pretty steady but small flakes. Hopefully the storm they predicted will come to full bore. 5 of us went to a Chinese buffet, wow, was it good and we sure pigged out. They had a ton of seafood stuff too, so we all got to enjoy lots of good stuff. And now I have no dishes to do, YAY! Kind of a weird holiday this year but it's all good. Looks like I'll have about 14 for this Sunday, that's when we're really celebrating. Sadly, then I'll have dishes to do then...hehe. We'll be going to the humane society to check out the kittens on Monday so perhaps a New Year's furbaby will be coming home. We decided to get a kitten so old cat can teach it what it needs to know without an older cat trying to dominate her and well, then there's the HUGE dog who is so gentle around tiny babies so that will be fun. My son wants to come too so the whole family will be doing the search for the purrfect furry. Not much else going on around here. Bf has either a nasty cold, he's quite miserable. I'm still doing pretty good and hopefully yesterdays flu shot will keep me from dealing with that bug. Wow, a wolf. Had a black bear in our front yard one xmas about 15 or so years ago when we lived at Tahoe, that was pretty scary for a minute, but also kinda cool. Even my awesome dog at the time was very quiet and just watched it with us from the window! Hope you are having a very nice day and that your turkey was yummy! |
