Hello!
we'll be celebrating xmas on the 30th. Everyone has crazy schedules and we decided to do it then at our house. Having everyone come from a 'broken' home, this way all other parentals can get their time in and leave me alone hehe. Xmas day those of us who want are going to a Chinese buffet. No cooking and cleaning for me at least! Yea, the new kitty hunt, I'm looking forward to it. We're not sure yet when we'll head to one of the shelters though, cuz bf is sick, and it's super windy here again with warnings etc. It's icy and cold out and I don't do well with bad roads, I'm now a big chicken. Well, been in like 11 accidents including 2 totals, I've never been hurt though and figure the odds are kinda against me now so I play it super safe. But if it warms up a bit this afternoon, my son and I might head out to take a look and drop off some stuff for them. Have way too many old blankets and towels taking up room for no reason so I'm going to gather up all of it. There's only so many rags you need in your life anyway! I didn't make it to the mail place yesterday, I'm still trying to get things gathered up and ready, have about 5 packages to put together and well, it's gonna happen soon! I'm planning on hitting the art room after a shower to get some pics taken and get some things done in there. I've been working on drawer pulls/cabinet knobs using stuff I don't like much to test with. So far, so good. I have to clean a lot of my molds today though and re-apply the kiln wash, so won't be making anymore for a bit, that has to be really dry cuz wet forms will explode in the kiln sometimes and I'm not really good with explosions of the destructive kind. I'm more a molotov cocktail on junk cars kind of gal HAHAHA. Well, that shower is sounding good and I'd like my hair to be dry before dark so guess I'd better get busy. HUGS and KISSES! |
