I hope you're having a great weekend. So, the puppy is improving? That's great! Melian got herself into trouble this evening. She likes to chase Pippin and bite at his butt and heels. I yell at her but she won't listen so I usually hold her until he's in his pen. Well, tonight she came out of nowhere and was growling really loudly as she bit at him. She's not being aggressive, it's just a game to her, however Pippin gets quite annoyed. He kicked her and hit her right on the eye. Poor Melian started swelling up immediately and has a cut on her eyebrow. I gave her metacam and that brought down the swelling quite quickly but I bet she has a bad headache. I doubt she's learnt her lesson though. We'll see! I'm running my little squirrel, Acorn, for critter of the month and someone named Dorothy from Kelowna is voting for her. I can't figure out who that is. It isn't you, is it? Leaving a vote for you.
