Hello!
So we are having high winds, and some flood warnings for the next few days. No flooding occurs in our immediate area but the Truckee River flows through downtown and they are thinking all the storming in the mtns may cause the river to rise rapidly and well, typical for this area. Either very dry or bursts of insane flooding, then back to very dry again. And always accompanied by severe winds. Otherwise all is actually quite well. My mom and I got to spend some time together today, did some shopping and mostly browsing at Big Lots then went next door to a nice Chinese place for lunch. The winds about blew my tiny mom away at one point though! I had to actually grab her! We had to laugh, as it wasn't windy when we went into the store, it was when we were putting bags into the car then walking back for lunch when a gust grabbed her hehe. She broke a hip last February so is still a bit frail - she's going to be 70 in June - and so we joke that they should have added some weights to her hips in surgery to hold her down hehe, and then today proved it hehe. Well, that's it for around here. I'm enjoying lots of art room time lately, been taking a break from video games. Too busy either creating or reading lately. We are all big readers, even the boys.
