Hello!
Our day was quite fun, and it will be continued into Sat, everyone comes here for big brunch and more fun. We do have a fantastic family dynamic and there is no fighting or bs, just laughs and laughs and lots of love. My nephew and a cousin are here playing games, my son had to go to work for a bit today, some big job at Squaw Valley, he does commercial refrigeration for his...dad...he calls my bf his dad and says his real dad is just a boss...he's such a great kid, he sure wasn't wanting to work but I told him it's only for part of the day and family is here all weekend, plus another big meal tomorrow so he'll have lots of time to visit. Then he saw that I enlisted the other 2 boys to help rake and bag this morning, so he was happy to drive away rake free hehe. Weather is mild, spirits are high and I'm just waiting to hear from our vet for lab results for my Rottie, took her in on Weds, she's hypothyroid but still have to have results to properly medicate but vet was super super impressed with her, voted best mannered dog of the month even hehe. Mo is the kind of dog that makes people want a Rottie, she's just that cool and funny. I'll email you more on the vet visit, it's quite hilarious actually. Glad to hear you don't black friday either, we refuse to buy into that garbage. Actually, most of the time we do our holiday shopping after xmas, and do a weird thingy then cuz stuff is way way cheaper that was and then all kids can have fun with their 'other families' with no stress. Besides, most of them spend so much time here that some of the 'other' families get a bit jealous, not in a bad way but you know, they love their kids too! Yea, no more frosty the snowman or any other really lame song. I do have quite a collection of punk rock holiday music, it's annoying in it's own way HAHAHA. Well, I'm babbling, sure hope you have a wonderful day/weekend and tell your son we send our sympathies for his day! Wow! |
