Thank you for the kind thoughts and comments about my dad's death. Euphemia was actually my father's stepmother, and I never got to see or know her. I never asked the question as to her nationality, so I don't know for sure. At the family gathering today, I'll ask that query! I/we have a lot to be thankful for today...My dad lived a very good long life (age 88) and I was able to know the man. So often, I hear people talk about losing a parent or both of them when they were young. We are also thankful that we are in fairly good health, and we will all be together again to enjoy the day.
My wife & I have tried acupuncture to see if it would be beneficial (or actually works or not) , and have found that it’s been very helpful, indeed. We’ve been going to see a young guy (28) for about 2-3 months now. Before seeing him I was taking pain meds (vicodin) , along with other meds for the neuropathy and lymphedema in my feet & legs about 4-5 times/day. Now I’m down to 2X/day! He’s also helped us to curb our appetite, and we’ve each lost between 20-30 pounds. Knees and other ailing body parts are also feeling better. So, we have much to be thankful for today and every day.
