Glad that worked out. You kind of took a chance if you introduced them in the tank with any other tank. Wild caught fish can carry diseases I understand. But I'm glad you saved them. I didn't think about getting angelfish at first. But I got a good deal on my 37G tall. Studied what kind of fish would work best with a tall tank and came up with angels, discus and several other south american fish. Real tempted to get a discus. I think with all the plants it would be great. Plants have really softened up the local water. But for now I need to come up with a better water filter setup. Kind of hard with plants because I can't use carbon. It would remove some of the chemical nutrients. And I have to watch that the filter does not add too much oxygen to the water. I guess the rescues are the roach fry? Post some pics of them. I would like to see them. Leaving a vote.
