Hi there!
Sorry that I've been delinquent in corresponding, not just with you but with all of the contacts that I've made on this site. Problem is that work and life have gotten in the way with having enough time to sit at the computer and type. I appreciate the fact that you've taken the time to sit and type a note to me. Since I haven't been able to go to everyone's page, I have taken a few minutes, from time to time, to try and update everyone with what's been happening in my corner of the world. If you haven't already done so, take a few minutes to look at the entries on my blog page and it will (kind of) enlighten you as to what I/we've been up to lately.

The last week or so has been a real horror show...we had Hurricane Sandy hit last Monday and we lost electrical power around 3:30 in the afternoon and didn't get it back until last Friday morning. The good thing is that last year we bought a generator and this summer we had an electrician install a transfer panel in the house and an external box with a female plug in it(with a cover over the plug). So now I have to start the generator up, plug the wire into the gennny and into the box on the wall, then go into the house and throw a switch on the transfer panel. That allows the genny to power the house while preventing power to be fed back through the line from the street. Today we are in the middle of a Nor'easter with moderately high winds (gusts to around 50-60mph) and a wintery mix of rain and snow. Fortunately, the snow is not sticking to the ground and building up. Work is OK & my health is about the same. A few weeks ago I re-injured the muscles in my lower back, and was out of work for a few weeks while they healed up. Both my wife & I have been seeing an acupuncturist over the past few months and he's made a BIG difference in the way we are feeling. We're very happy with the results (up to this point in time). The problem with that is...he's been stuck in New York (where he's living, in Queens) and he hasn't been able to travel to this area to see us, and his other patients in the area...and boy, do we miss him and the teatments. The tank is up and running and doing very well (again, thanks to having a generator)!

Well, that's about it for now, so I'm going to end this here and try to get a few things done before calling it quits for the night.

Take care and be safe! I even left a vote for you today before ending this message.
