Hello!
aaah yes, the joys of high desert living. we do get odd weather here. My daughter is working on my website, and hopefully in a month or so it will be semifunctional. Mo seems to have hypothyroid so we'll be getting her to the vet soon. ugh. at least meds for that aren't very spendy. Couldnt' figure out why she wasn't losing weight and now her hair is coming out! YIKES! Other than that, all is well here, kids are great, fish tanks are a mess, but the house is clean! My sister had a 'hen party' here Friday night and I got several requests from some of them to come and hang out in the living room and drink wine after work before they went home hehe. It's all coming along around here finally. Have a few more things to do and in the next month need to finish redoing the wall unit bookcase in the living room and then I'll need a vacation. We have over 1k books...I'm a HUGE bibliophile and have quite a nice collection. My bff wants me to will her all my anne mccaffrey pern books. I told her those will most likely put my greatgrandkids through college when the time comes hehe. I even got a really nice bookplate from her a few years ago when she was still able to do such things. She's most likely the only person that I've never known or met that I actually cried a bit when she died! Well, need pet food for all my critters so guess I should get to the store for them. Ugh, crickets, mealworms, ugh. At least fish food is frozen and dog and cat don't do live food...well, except for cat bringing me remains of whatever she caught...ewww. Warm hugs! |
