Feeding Behaviors The fish have some interesting feeding habits. Peppered cories will eat food from the surface. The Rams and cories will eat shrimp pellets on the substrate and Neon and Cardinal tetras will follow them and eat the crumbs. All fish except the Cories and Bristlenose pleco will attack surface food in a feeding frenzy.
