Hello!
The walking is making a difference, and we're enjoying them. Wish I could go out in the woods or meadows like I used to though, living in suburban hades is not really what I envisioned for a permanent home but alas, here we are. Weather is cooling and still so dry. Hopefully this winter won't be a wildfire hazard like last years, a lot of homes were lost and a lot more land. I'm gonna hope for a nice wet winter. I can dream anyway! Mo is enjoying being an only dog, we knew she would. She's so friendly but she really likes to just be left alone when napping and she really likes being the center of attention, the brat hehe. I haven't fed her breakfast yet and we just got back from our big walk so she's looking at me like I'm the meanest mom in the world hehe. She's incredibly spoiled and is a total MaMa's BaBy like you would not believe. The kids think it's hilarious. We are sure glad it's Fall, colors are changing and temps are mild. I planted a pineapple sage that my SIL gave me last weekend, put it in a nice pot and added creeping thyme all around, the blooms are just amazing on it, really like the pale bright green leaves with the deep bright pink trumpet flowers. Hopefully it will be happy for a few years in the pot. I'll winter it indoors here, they don't always want to come back after winters here I learned. My dad gave me a Sago palm he was killing that I also potted and am trying to figure out where to put...have a lot of houseplants, can't seem to help myself hehe. Need to go to Plants Anon HAHAHA. Well, need to get busy so I can get some creating done tomorrow in peace. I don't create well when I have some nagging chore that needs to be done, too OCD for my own good! Hugs to all! |
