Hello! we live in a desert, there is very low humidity and it's harsh on all of us with our already dry skin...not sure how else to explain it...once last winter we finally had some heavy rain, big puddles etc and the humidity was still only 67% that day! If I had my way we'd live on the Pacific Northwest Coast, preferably Crescent City though not sure I'll ever live in Cali again. Might have to go up even higher! I LOVE the ocean, we all do and we all miss it so much but here is home now so we just make do and find ways to keep the house humid when we can. I do a lot of crockpot cooking in the winter so that helps at least! It's starting to look like Fall finally, some leaves are turning and soon my fence of Virginia Creeper will look like it's blazing. A neighbor has it growing along their driveway down to the street and it already looks like a lava flow, they incorporate it into their Halloween decor, and it's pretty cool.
