Hello! amazing how fast money goes no matter how frugal we try to be. we are still in the 70's during the day but nights are high 30's to low 40's. dont' have to water as much anymore though which is nice. I planted a pineapple sage my SIL brought me the other day, put it in a nice pot with some creeping thyme around it and it sure is pretty. The flowers are such an intense deep pink, gorgeous plant for sure. I'll be able to winter it inside and hopefully next year can have enough leaves for cooking/baking. The basil simple syrup I made the other week is really nice for salads instead of so much vinegar, makes for a nice blend of tart/sweet especially when I toss in some raspberries and Feta cheese. Well, that's all I got, guess I got food on the brain. Too bad I have too much house work to want to mess up the kitchen cooking yet today hehe. Hope you have a cheaper day today! hehe.
