Try using vinegar in the cleaning machine instead of soaps, and put some in the rinse water as well. I used that when my dog got sick and was using my son's room for a bathroom, yea, pee and diarrhea 3x in 2 weeks. and wow, was it nasty. I ran out of cleaner so did the vinegar trick and she has not had any accidental on purpose episodes in there since and once it was dry the room smelled so fresh and clean. I found it's a great way to kill animal smell. Our cat will pee on bathmats or wet towels, rags, etc left on the floor so started adding vinegar to the washing machine too and not only is cat smell gone (and she also doesn't do it as much, from 1-2x a week to maybe 3x a month now if my son forgets and leaves things on his bathroom floor for more than a few days) and our laundry is better too. His job means lots of weird odors if he's had to climb around a busy kitchen and now his work clothes always smell fresh. Anyway, that's all I got for pet messes. I don't miss having puppy love, our old dog was a PAIN to house break, I didn't trust him for almost 3 years. Thought I was going to have to kill him at one point! Anyway, bf took a day off today so I'm in for him being in my way hehe. He said he did it on purpose too, the brat hehe. Sure hope you have a better day! |
