Hello!
no humidity is harsh for those of us who already suffer from extreme dry skin. I boil a lot of water in the winter, with lemon or lime and a variety of herbs. house smells good at least and we all crave the moisture here! I'm a 'mixed media' artist of sorts, ceramic, sculpture, drawing, painting, metal work, abstract, fused glass, a few other things. My bf likes that our house is always colorful and changing, I CRAVE color and am always coming up with something, or making something. I have wish lists from friends and family a mile long...keep trying to tell them supplies aren't free and you don't always get a freebie! Jeesh! hehe. Being grown has some real advantages, and having supportive family makes all the difference for sure! Actually, you can see one of my pieces on the k-spaz page, it's an antique frame that I repainted and then in metal class took a grinder to a piece of sheet metal, ground out a nifty pattern, then did a vinegar wash on it and left it outside during some drizzly weather for a few days, then in ceramic glass used a rusty ancient cornbread mold and made fish, leaving the rust on the clay then sealing it, and mounted them on the metal and Voila! Scored A's in both classes and have a piece of art for over the 55 tank. That's some of the stuff I'm always doing, I feel like the mom in Beetlejuice...if I don't create something I'm going to go crazy and take all of you with me HAHAHA.
