Thanks for the vote The flaming scallop will die if not feed especially in a new tank. It requires supplementation with phytoplankton, and organic foods (Marine Snow or Selcon) provided by using a small pipette/straw to dispense the food upstream of its location. It does best if you do not squirt the food directly at it, usually causes it to close up. Needs to catch food on its own. Here's a vote
