scallop Lets see if this makes more sense. I am very proactive and stir my substrate at least once a day. I have never added any plankton or white snow so I geuss it feeds when I stir it up. My tank is still new and I wouldnt say its well established because I know that takes some time. You could call it a fowlr tank except I do have a small frag zoe. I will try to post a video so you can see in detail.
