Yeah, it's been a while.
Hope things are going well with you. I don't use any special setup for my cO2. I have a regulator, then that goes into a bubble counter, out to an air hose, then the cO2 comes out of the end of the air hose, which is put into the intake of my hang on the back filter. The only diffuser I use is the filter. I don't turn the cO2 off at night, it just keeps running. However, I have recently thought I could make the cO2 last longer if I get a solenoid, but I haven't done that yet. I find that this setup works well for me. The lights in the tanks ranges from 2 watts per gallon to 4.5 watts per gallon. Recently though, it seems like the plants are growing as well in the 2 watts per gallon as they do in the higher light tanks. Thinking of lowering the light, but haven't done that yet either. Can't wait to see what you do. And you had halfbeaks that spawned? I am impressed. I can't even find halfbeaks. Later. |
