Hello!
I did get the email, I've been so busy it's painful, literally, and just haven't caught up with your or K lately. My daughter will be out of here tonight, her bff is taking her to the airport so they'll go out after he gets off work at midnight, have a late dinner and then she's off to the east coast! I cleaned the garage yesterday morning, then got some bookcases up to the art room and spent the afternoon organizing it some more, did a little bit of art too cuz well, I could and had a great time with My bff who stopped by for moral support in the garage and we had lots of laughs. We went to Jamba Juice and ended up being a 'floor show' and had the whole place in tears of laughter, it was great. Oh, and we did a good job of making my new cutie mailman blush hehe, he's great and thinks Mo is a big old bear and was sure happy to find out how friendly she is. I suspect mailmen are always happy to see a friendly dog. That they carry mace as part of their uniform sorta gives that away. Anyway, I hurt too much to sleep last night, so around 5:30a I made it to bed for a few hours and then POOF, the wake up fairy came and won't leave me alone. Guess I'll do my watering and spend most of this day reading, as I'm not sure I can do much else. Other than picking up my daughter after bf gets home from work for our final appts and visit my dad a few minutes, my day has no real plans. I don't think I could take any real thought or work anyway today, eyes feel like they are full of kitty litter. How fun you had some family visiting!Or did you hehe. We'll be having a good size group for family dinner Sunday, as some friends are in town, and the son just turned 22 yesterday. He has MD and was supposed to not survive his early teen years so this is quite a b-day accomplishment and we're super thrilled to have him still with us. His dad does pretty good, especially since he's raised this kid by himself and he had to overcome some obstacles of a wild youth so it's been great having them around. They are going to move to this area in the next year so that will be even better! Ok, I'm trying to burn my breakfast, little brain must get going before I have a disaster to clean up, I'm tired of cleaning! |
