whew
yup, whew. Got the last 2 plants I bought from HD in the ground this morning, and one of the freebie Blue Mist babies, a rather tall one she gave me about a foot or so high with some buds on it. Hopefully they'll bloom out and not panic with the transplant. And got a big pot full of coleus done. Still have lots of babies to plant though. Did I tell you that my bff took me away on Friday and we went and scored free landscaping plants from a neat lady off craigslist? I'm going to bring her some of my iris next weekend and she'll give me some big oriental poppies too she said. I have 5 baby red hot poker plants that I always wanted cuz they remind me of astropops, my fave popsicle, and another spearmint, 5 what should be beige iris, several baby blue mist and something else I can't remember right now. Had a hard time gardening this morning without Stanley, made me cry as he was always out helping me garden, even when he was a little puppy. sniffsniff. Gonna miss that old dog indeed. Mo and Goose are mopey today too. Well, this isn't getting the rest of the planting done and have to get ready for a big wig bbq for bf, he needs to go and guess I should too, even though I'd rather be home moping and planting than mingling hehe. How are you doing? Are your temps any better? We're having a really nice end of Aug, deep blue skies, big fluffy white clouds and enough breezes to make the high 80's low 90's temps bearable.
