Hello!
While laptops are convenient, I'm still a fan of my PC and keyboard. Having a super geek guru means my trash bin holds more than most peoples entire system. Talking mega giga bytes, it's pretty incredible. We also have several laptops, one for each of us and one currently on loan to a neighbor who's PC died and is too old to try to fix. Yea, this is what happens when 'puter geeks are in your life. My daughter is an arts major with emphasis in music and a minor in computer science, and with my bf being a bigwig geek at his job, I'm pretty well set for anything computer related. I have found Linux OS to be my best friend, my laptop runs an older version of windows only cuz of my one computer game addiction - roller coaster tycoon II hehe. How's work? Hows the PT coming? Hows the turtles? Has your son shipped off yet, I forget when you said he was. I'm in for a tough week, I realized this morning that our old dog (as in 17) won't be able to wait until next month to be put down as we planned, he's really going downhill fast and I don't want him to suffer. So, I'll have to be the one to deal with taking him to the vet. He's actually my kids' dog, been the best kid dog ever too, used to pull them on their skateboards, always ready to go when they were for anything and has a lot of miles on his feet over the years indeed. We were going to wait until my daughter left for MD early next month, but he keeps falling down (bad hips) and well, he's ancient and lived a great life indeed. Had him since he was 3 mos old. I will never get any type of Akita mix again though, they NEVER stop SHEDDING EVER. It's only degrees of bad to worse seasonally. I have never ever had to deal with so much dog hair and I've had dogs my whole life! Jeesh! I think I could make an adult Pomeranian every week from his brushings! Guess that's all my babble for now, hope you are hanging in there and getting some relief. |
