Hello!
It just seems weird not to have any teens any more. Now he's looking into moving out, and with my daughter about to move to Maryland next month, and our old dog about to be 'put down' (he's an akita mix and is 17, and well, he won't make it through the winter, he can hardly walk now) I'm not sure how ready I am for all these changes. then again, my workload will decrease substantially both with dog and laundry (yea, my kid is spoiled though he pays me to do his laundry hehe)and I will be able to catch up and then get back to my set hours in the art room. Have a few orders and really need to get things in gear before the holiday rush. And this also means I can move the desk here in the family room up to the soon to be spare room and look forward to having another room for us to use. Bf is wanting a bit of a den, as always being in the garage isn't so great when it's really hot or cold out. Well, the cold is easier cuz then I use the kiln more so he has a nice personal heater he says hehe. But it will be nice to have more garage room for garage things and not need so much man cave space. See, I've already almost talked myself into how OK it will be once all kids are moved out. Sorta...hehe. I'm going to be taking today very easy, been having some nasty neck issues myself. Yea, to get muscles relaxed would be so nice. My dad is thinking of taking me to get some acupuncture, as I'm more of a holistic type and not into taking much meds (well, not having insurance helps reinforce that issue). Well, laundry and dishes are still waiting, sadly they never do themselves. Sure hope you have a good weekend planned, even if you just get some rest! |
