Hello!
we did get a bit of rain last night, enough that the sidewalks were still a bit damp this morning. more is to come and I'm sure wishing for it. Had to do some major hole digging this morning for some dogwoods that my dad bought about a month ago and then decided were too big for his tiny patio. Turns out that needed the assistance of my cat and my old dog. My young dog doesn't do hard work, hehe. anyway, whew, what a day and now I'm really sore but they look great and seem happier to be in good soil and watered well. Sadly, it's rare a t-storm here produces much more than enough to make your car a mess and remind you of how much you really miss good downpours. I'm hopeful that Sept will be a nice wet month but alas, all those solar flares mean most likely a hot dry spell for a bit longer I'm sure. Well, guess I need to get ready to prepare for hungry men and get some gaming time in, I'm sure there's a monster somewhere I can slaughter on my quest to save Zelda again hehe. Hang in there, and you can always 'whine' to me, those of us with chronic pain sometimes need to know we aren't alone! |
