Hello!
got my watering done, and some deadheading, and whew, it's already in the 90's out there and it's only a bit after noon...so now I'm enjoying the a/c and my fan blowing on me. ugh. this being sick thing sucks. and I smashed my right ring finger tip this morning...even bf was feeling sorry as he witnessed it. yea, i'm a klutz+ hehe. my son's will be getting the dogwoods from my dad today, so I'll have much to keep me busy tomorrow. or later today, depending on how hot it is, if we get the threatened rains and what my energy may be like by then. I figure they'll survive a night in buckets if they don't make it into the ground tonight. haven't dug the holes yet as I realized my dogs would be all in there making even more mess than usual and I don't want to deal with it. Zelda and I are doing fine, just about completed the game in 'hero mode' so will be going back to a previous version that I never finished. apparently I've picked up some skills being so dedicated to this one. So far I've managed to accomplish things that last time I needed the kids' help with so I'm feeling quite sassy hehe. I got the orchid repotted and boy is it perky now. hopefully i can keep it going. my SIL gave it to me cuz she thinks I have a superior green thumb. somethings i really can grow well, others...not so much as my sad flowerbed can attest to hehe. Well, gotta get going, turns out I'm really tired and am going to try for a nap before the troops invade my domicile. Hugs! |
