**Background** This tank was put together for my daughter after my parents bought her a Betta fish. They had gotten a standard fishbowl for the Betta. After a few days, the Betta wouldn't move and was barely eating. After some research, I decided that I did not want the Betta to suffer in his bowl and I bought this set-up. My 3 year old has named the Betta "Fishstick" and has named the Golden Algae Eater "Tree-Bushes".
