sorry to hear about skippy, he is in that big fish tank in the sky now, about those plants most snails do not eat plants and it is usually the smaller versions of snails that dont eat plants but the bigger apple snails do eat plants but not all apple snails certain species will not eat plants, my ivory snails do not bother my plants and if you have those malayasia trumpet snails they will not bother your plants aye, and most definitely clean your tank, i recommend a weekly water change with a gravel vaccum, filter pad cleaning every other week unless you are like me and overstock your tanks and i have to do filter pad cleanings weekly as well, be good my friend heres a vote..><}}}">
