GOOD NEWS! Well folks, it's been a long time coming and I have to say I finally did it! The tank and stand have made the transition from the basement to the bedroom and has taken it's place where the 40 used to be. It took a friend & I most of the day to make the move. I had to get the old stand & tank out of the way, then clean the walls & floor behind where the tank was sitting for the better part of 28 yrs, then paint the wall & trim before the new one was put in place. The fish have survived the move & are doing well in the "new digs". I haven't had the opportunity to take any pictures of the completed project but, I will soon and they too will get posted here. Now I have to go fishin' for some new tank mates!
