Love the turtles!
My very first aquatic pets were 2 tiny painted turtles I got when I was 3! I had them for a few years too, before my dad got stationed in Alaska and I gave them to a neighbor kid who loved them. And yes, at that tiny age I had to take care of them and the first time they got a dirty tank I was told if I couldn't care for them, they'd go back to the store, and I've been cleaning tanks ever since. In Alaska, I got 2 fish tanks, one had a real piranha (not a pacu) who was totally cool and a big chicken, and the other had angels and a few algae eaters. My dad still remembers us cleaning tanks together and getting fish for the piranha every week. He would only eat one a day, was really cool to watch too, he'd stalk then strike like lightening, fish in half and then a few more chomps and done. I named him Pete hehe. flexeral and tramadol, nice stuff indeed. I found a little bit goes a long way for me too which is nice cuz taking med after med all day really isn't my thing. We are having severe winds right now, gusts to 70+, trees and fences blowing down all over. Never ours though, which is almost annoying cuz I have a 2 trees that need to go, the fences are all old and shot and well, a new roof would be nice hehe. Oh, and I have an uncle who had a lung removed almost 2 years ago, been in ICU 3x since for pneumonia and still smokes. Some people never learn.Hope you are enjoying your weekend, and sure wish you could send some of your weather this way. |
