Happy weekend!
I'm having a great one so far, in spite of my current injuries (which are still making me laugh, good grief). Went to the LFS and scored 2 really lovely nerite snails for the dragon tank - one is black and tan tiger stripes and the other is rust with some nice dot patterns and got 12 ghost shrimp cuz I think the Fig8 and the dragon inhaled the last batch, the pigs. Also, I FINALLY scored that elusive albino bushy nose pleco, it's about 2.5" and very very active! And a trapdoor snail for the sewer. All fish were super happy to find I also brought home some live blackworms and boy, did they go crazy! The dragon goby has never had live worms and it was really funny watching him for them after he realized it was food and not enemy attacks hehe. My big old goby is like my big old Rottie, huge baby! My Rottie is 139lbs of mama's baby/lapdog hehe. So, all critters are acclimated and so far, so good. The prices were incredibly reasonable too, I even scored 10 white clouds for my friends daughters tank (I got her a 10 gal for her 6th grade graduation/xmas/b-day), as they were only 5 for a buck! Even the ghost shrimp were super cheap, less than the chainstores, and the pleco was only 7.50 so for 25 bucks, I was quite happy. Oh, and got some nasty large crickets for our gecko. I hate crickets...ewww...hehe. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. And no, I don't wear green, I'm very Irish and mean too hehe.
