Sorry it took so long to reply, had a crazy week last week! My aunt had a huge calico fancy goldfish that was about 15. Her HUGE pleco is that old too, and is the last fish we're waiting to pass on. She's just not ready to part with it and isn't sure it would survive being moved and getting re-set up. I'm with her, plus I don't want the creepy huge pleco! I got spined in the palm of my hand some years ago by an 8" pleco that I startled when cleaning a tank, and wow, did that ever hurt. My aunts pleco has spines that give me the shivers when I see them, they'd go through my hand I'm sure! Ok, I doubt I'd touch it but still, accidents do happen! Did you get any new fish yet? I'll be ordering the albino bushy nose pleco this month from a LFS, cuz I always get b-day money to buy fish with. Other than that, I don't think I'll be getting too many other fins right now, all tanks are pretty balanced and I may get lucky and end up with my aunts tank before too long. |
