Hello
one good plant to use is annubias. They do well with moderate lighting. If they get too much light they manage to get over run with algae. I also have amazon swords, java moss and a few other plants that were purchased at the local pet store. They didn't have the names on those. So I don't know what they are. But they are doing well even though the fish like to nibble on them. I have heard LED's do great for plants. But those are probably the more expensive ones. not the Marineland I have. So to make sure I place a florescent light on the tank every few days for a day. I'm seeing a little trouble with my swords right now but from what I have studied I think the problem is they don't have enough CO2. So for now I am going to rig a DIY up. I'm not experienced with the plants so I am just having to read and learn for now.
