snails
they are kept under control by a very happy Fig8 in the 20 and the clown loach in the 55. I always have snails for my happy eaters of snails. MTS are not popular, no pet store will take them as a general rule, they clone themselves and just 1 or 2 will take over an entire tank in a very short time if there's no predators. I'm confused at to why you are telling me about green puffers, I've never wanted one for my current 20. I like Fig8's best though once I upgrade my brackish into my 55, perhaps would get one way in the future after the Fig8 is gone. I'm super excited you may get your eel soon! Yea, our LFS sell glofish for about 7.99 too. Funny how different they all are, I mean I know that chainstores buy more so get better prices, but still, you'd think some things would be much cheaper. Our lfs will order fish for you, and I got really lucky the day I went in to order the Fig8, they actually had a small one that they marked down to 3.99, and that little guy is thriving and a busybody now. I agree some puffers get a bad name, but some are quite nippy. wonder if it's due to curiosity more than territorial though. Well, looking forward to hearing about your new fish! |
