clown plecos
yea, they are so cute, topping out at about 4", and one of the few that you can keep more than one in a tank without territorial issues. And that chocolate brown with bright orange stripe is lovely. When I can see them that is. They really like zucchini and romaine lettuce, I have a feeding clip for them and sometimes sneak in at night to watch them go at it. Mine are over 4yrs old now, and are almost as fat as they are long haha. keep checking Craigslist, stuff is spendy right now cuz of the holiday, but around tax time things go down as folks are moving and just want to get rid of stuff. I hope to find my giant dream tank then. The ones I've seen lately are around 300+ and well, if I had that kind of money I'd buy a new one! I'll be getting our tree down tomorrow and then the living room will get the major cleaning indeed. I do like a sparkling window and since it's been so warm, I should be able to hook up the hose and wash the outside ones too. I was planning on today but didn't get any sleep last night, can barely type much less think. My dogs were not well and so got to clean up some lovely messes, on the stairs! OMG what a nightmare! They are lucky they are loved or I'd be making me some slippers today HAHA. Poor pups, too much going on the past week and one is just so old and the other being a pure bred, well, they are just like having toddlers all the time, always something going on with them putting things in their mouths hehe. At least they are very quiet today, guess they are as tired as I am! My Rottie is seriously pouty as she doesn't like messes nor does she like to be in trouble. They aren't in trouble, but well, I do get grumpy when I'm exhausted and having to clean up things I don't like cleaning up so she's got the guilt hehe. What a sweetie she is, staying close to me and being very quiet. Makes for a nice day at least, not having to play and pay attention to them so much, just some reassuring pats and then back to zoning out hehe. I have never had the pea puffers, but I have to admit to how cute they are! Hope you are enjoying your day! |
