Monday Hello!
Hi Stokes! So nice to meet you! Really enjoyed reading your message. South Africa?! WOW! Had to grab our globe and see where Johannesburg is located. Think it's really cool to be able to blog with you being so far away. I'm in Missouri. Sounds way boring compared to SA! And the fish you have there are amazing. Just beautiful. I'm married and we have 3 kiddos (21, 16, & 10). Two daughters and a son. I work for the school district and love it because when the kids are out of school (for teacher planning days, holidays, or snow days) then I am off as well. Your daughter is on summer vacation and my kids are on Christmas (winter) vacation. We're actually getting some freezing rain as I type this. What is your weather like this time of year?
I have 2 dogs (plus my oldest has a dog here too) but I hate to say I have 3 because I'm in hopes that the oldest moves out on her own after college and takes her pooch with her. heehee! I recently purchased a Russian dwarf hamster that I adore. She is the sweetest thing. I have never had a snake and to be honest am scared of them...it doesn't help that we have a lot of garden snakes and I've had the little boogers coil up & hiss at me and some even strike at me which sends me running in the house and leaving my gardens untended. Lol! I Googled on your Taiwanese Beauty...how long have you had her? It says females can get up to 8 feet long? What size tank do you have her in? That is going to be one large snake...and it's a constrictor?!
I like birds but have only had parakeets and one canary in my younger days. Have never been around a cockatiel but use to watch my neighbors macaws quite often while they were out of town. One was sweet and the other was MEAN! They were both very noisy and when they moved & offered to give us one my hubby said NO WAY! Lol!
It is my hope to someday have a cichlid tank. I'm just learning about them and the variety of them is so great and equally beautiful that I find myself wanting all of them. Lol!
I have talked your ear off enough. Hope you have a wonderful week and hope to hear from you again soon.
Lav4u! Smiles, Rochelle
