VicDabone's 92 Gal Bow front
This is our largest tank thus far. I found this tank on a popular internet "list" for sale....pretty cheap.
I do like bottom fish and have found my other tanks do well with several cory cats and such.
There are two Gold Severum Cichlids, the main fish of this tank. The first was free re-home from Petland. He was beat up pretty bad, I asked about him and they gave it to me. I bet they assumed it was going to die...that was two years ago. We bought the other when it was the size of a 50 cent piece. All the fish seem to get along.
I use Jungle Start Right, Wardley Watercare Complete conditioner, and a drop of Jungle clear water per 3 gal of water change...and a little aquarium salt.
I feed mostly Bloodworms,wardley goldfish flakes, wardley tropical flakes, Shrimp pellets, betta pellets, green peas, and sometimes freeze dried shrimp.
Filtering comes by the way of an under gravel dual tube filter, a DIY bottle sponge filter, and two HOB filters, I always use two HOB per tank, that way I can clean one and have one with the bacteria undisturbed.
Have a canister filter it should be running soon.
I run two air pumps; a single outlet and a dual outlet. Water movement is important in all tanks.
The cat in the pics likes to watch and the fish don't really seem to care.
This is our 4th tank. As any fish head knows...it is work....but a labor of love.
