Hello Chris, Hope you are getting your algea under control. I have that black bushy type on the edge of some leaves in the 45 gal I keep an eye on but so far hasn't gotten out of hand - crossing my fingers! Also have some green algea on the driftwood but the kind that looks pretty - not all over - and the bush nose Pleco keeps it down. The black bushy type (can't remember name) is difficult to get rid of but I have heard flourish excel can clear it..... hope you are enjoying your company :). V4u! Kathy
