Hi Chris, Blog peeked and saw the posts on your Cory and Oto's. A couple years back I couldnt keep a Cory alive. My tanks were mature enough ( Oto's especially it is suggested to wait until a tank is over 6 months ) and testing results were good with no ammonia or nitrite. My Nitrate wasn't high either. I chocked it down to a bad batch at LFS and later when I tried again - success! So I agree with Tamara, test the water and then if OK maybe try from different LFS? Also, how do you acclimate? Maybe the water at LFS is different enough from yours that acclimation should take longer. Mine is always so different it takes me all night or longer. Hope you enjoy the pending holidays and your company :). Oh, and the quite time as well!
