Greetings!
Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes! And I'm sorry for the late reply. In Africa we do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but I am quite aware of the centuries old traditions and I understand the spirit of the holiday. Also thanks to American TV and movies which makes up the bulk of what we watch on TV, which have enlightened us about how Americans celebrate July 4th, Halloween, and Christmas. We have Christmas of course, but we have it in the heat of summer and so that kind of skews the northern traditions of Christmas associated with snow and winter and turkey. Turkey is not so popular round here, I have seen one maybe twice in my life and they look more like pheasant here than they do turkey. Halloween is not observed here and I wish it was. That is a really neat holiday and I would love to revel in those festivities one day. Maybe Thanksgiving too, to give thanks for all the foreign aid ;-D Take care! Cheers!
